To put it simply the most effective diets that show the best LASTING results are diets that
support your metabolism. Too much of a drop in calories eaten will slow down your
metabolism. If there are not enough calories coming in to sustain your resting metabolic rate
(RMR) then your body will simply adjust and reduce your RMR to match what’s coming in. It
does this by getting rid of muscle. Remember muscle equals metabolism, without it you will
find getting results increasingly harder.
The key is eating little and often. This will support your recovery and metabolism and it will
keep your energy levels up all day. Starving yourself will do the exact opposite. Eating 5-6 small
meals a day has been shown to be the most effective fat loss method of dieting. It reduces
cravings and you’re actually never hungry!
Hydration: Drink a glass of water (250-300ml) every hour. It will flush toxins from your body increase your
concentration and even reduce joint and muscle soreness. Water is used in every bodily
